A shorter stage as the valley opens out.
DAY 04
Bhojbasa → Tapovan

The demanding climb to the meadows beneath Shivling.
DAY 05
Tapovan → Gaumukh → Bhojbasa

Descend past the glacier snout.
DAY 06
Bhojbasa → Gangotri
Walk · 14 km · 8 hr
Retrace the valley to the roadhead.
DAY 07
Gangotri → Dehradun
Drive · 242 km
Return to Dehradun.
